The Whitehall Chamber of Commerce strives to promote Whitehall and it's businesses to the highest ability, creating and revamping annual events that are fun for the whole family and developing Whitehall into a wholesome place people want to visit, as well as live.
After the devastating March 6, 2009 downtown fire, which wiped out a substantial piece of Whitehall's building history, the Chamber stepped forth to create the Whitehall Relief Fund. Businesses and individuals affected by the fire applied for monies to help their employees and themselves get their feet back on the ground. Except for Jane & Gabi's Legion Street Grille, all of those businesses impacted by the fire are back in business. Jane Bowman and Gabi Hall now have a catering business, and Bowman has been helping out at the new BB's Sports Arena.
The Chamber is in charge of most of Whitehall's major events, such as Frontier Days, NRA Rodeo, the Christmas Stroll, the Beef Breeder Show, Cowboy Workshop and more. The Chamber is always looking for new ideas to add to the usual events, as well as new events to showcase Whitehall in a different way.
